Shutterstock Integration for Frontify

Learn how to push your Shutterstock assets into Frontify

Updated over a week ago

Shutterstock is a paid integration. Don't hesitate to contact your Customer Success Manager for further information.

The Shutterstock Connector by Frontify allows users to access Shutterstock assets within the Frontify DAM without switching between two environments.

The connector allows for regular synchronization of your assets (image, videos) living in Shutterstock to a defined Frontify library. All the metadata is carried over as well.

Making Shutterstock Images available in your Frontify DAM

Once your assets have been synched to Frontify, you can start using the built-in faceted search capabilities as part of the Frontify DAM.

This image is synched from Shutterstock to Frontify and includes specific tags that can be used to create such a search filter for end users.

Adding Shutterstock Assets to the Frontend Search through Tags

Here is an example of how such a filter can be created using the Frontify DAM. By doing this, you can make sure that Shutterstock images will be available to your end-user (through filters) within the Frontend of the DAM.

Requirements

To use this integration, you will need:

• An existing Frontify Enterprise Account,

• A Shutterstock account (username and password)

Getting Started

  1. Get a Frontify Enterprise Account.
Request your Enterprise account through this page.

  2. Contact your Customer Success Manager to request the setup of the Shutterstock Connector (Frontify needs to get the Shutterstock username and password for this setup)

  3. Once the setup is tested, you can start using the integration.
