Themes - Build your footer

Learn how to customize, structure, and manage your footer.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Your footer is an essential part of your portal, providing important links and streamlining navigation. You can customize its layout, add buttons and columns, and style it to match your brand. Let’s explore how to tailor it to your needs.

Table of content

Create your footer in seconds

Building your footer is quick and simple. Toggle edit mode, scroll to the bottom of your guideline’s page, and add the elements you need to create a functional and structured footer.

Add unlimited links and buttons

Once you've added your footer elements, it's time to make them interactive by adding links. Simply copy and paste the desired URL into the footer element to direct users to the right destination.

You can also add buttons for a more engaging experience. Select the element, choose a button style from the available options, set the target link, and save your changes.

Now, when visitors click on a footer element, they’ll be seamlessly redirected to the link you applied.

Organize content into multiple columns

Customize your footer layout by toggling on the edit mode and choosing between one and six columns to structure your content effectively.

A single column works for simple footers, while multiple columns help organize links, copyrights, or other key information. Select the layout that best fits your needs for a clean and functional design.

Customize type styles

Enhance your footer with an on-brand touch by applying your brand colors. To customize the style, toggle edit mode, select the footer element, and open the dropdown menu.

You’ll find options ranging from Heading 1 through the entire hierarchy (Heading 2, 3, 4, etc.), as well as custom styles, quotes, and more, ensuring a cohesive and branded look.

Show or hide your footer on specific pages

Themes allow you to control the visibility of your footer on specific pages. To do this, click the Theme icon, go to Layout and Navigation, and select “This page.”

Then, scroll down to Footer, where you can choose “Hide” if you’d like to remove the footer from that particular page.
