RGB and HEX are the default values and are converted automatically.

Other color spaces values, like CMYK, need to be added manually.

In Edit mode, you can simply click on the placeholder “0, 0, 0, 0” values and type the values for each color.

To have the CMYK option, make sure that you have activated CMYK:

  1. Click on the gear icon on the right side of the Colors Block

  2. Activate the CMYK colorspace

We have automated conversion of RGB and HEX since they’re both additive color systems. CMYK in comparison is a subtractive color system. While conversion between two additive color systems is straightforward and there’s one formula on how to do this, the conversion between an additive and subtractive color system is more complex and there are several ways of doing that.

As different brands have different approaches for this conversion, we focus on providing the most flexible solution and do not plan to extend the automated conversion to other color systems.

This way, your brand can store color systems based on their own conversion formulas.
