How do I make my Cover Page responsive?

Mobile view and responsiveness of legacy guidelines layout

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Cover Page feature is part of our legacy guideline layout being phased out. With our new Frontify Themes, you use any page as a cover page, with more control over design and style.

There’s no set removal date yet, but we recommend switching soon. Legacy will not get new features or fixes.

Our legacy Guidelines layout were developed primarily for web use, which can result in some issues with how certain elements appear on mobile devices. Specifically, designing a Cover Page for desktop may not translate well to mobile, as text can appear overly large and there is no responsive font sizing.

We are working to improve this as we are updating the building blocks of the Guidelines gradually.

In the meantime, a useful tip is to use viewport width (vw) instead of pixels for custom headings in your design settings. The unit "vw" represents 1% of the browser window's width, which can help with dynamic resizing and improve the mobile view.

You can adjust this setting for different text types by navigating to

Settings -> Design.
