How can I unpublish a Page?

Sometimes, you are not ready to show your amazing work to the world. Therefore, you can unpublish the page. Only visible for Editors.

Updated over a year ago

It's helpful to unpublish unfinished pages, especially if you need to finish or rework them. This means that the page will not be visible to users, but the content you created will not be deleted—a sort of draft mode.

Thanks to the Navigation Manager, it's fast and easy.

Here's a short How-To:

  1. Login to your Guidelines

  2. Press the edit button or use the shortcut CMD + E

  3. Click on the Navigation Manager icon

in the Power Bar on the left-hand side of your screen.

  4. Select the page you want to unpublish.

  5. Click on the unpublish icon.

Here's a short gif to show you how to do it.

Within your Navigation Manager, you'll notice that the page is currently unpublished. Additionally, when you access the page directly, you'll observe a yellow dot in the menu beside it, signaling that it's in draft mode.

Once you want to publish the page, just click on the publish icon on your Navigation Manager.

Fast and easy. And that's already it. I hope you enjoyed the article.
