The email signature generator block is a content block that allows users to create standardized, professional email signatures directly within brand guidelines.
Instead of designing signatures manually or using external tools, users can customize a preformatted template by adding personal details like their name, email, brand information, and logo. This ensures consistency across all email communications while making the process quick and easy.
Installation
To install the content block, follow the procedure here (only editors can install it from the marketplace).
Block settings (for editors)
In edit mode, editors can configure one-column email signatures that align with company branding.
Customize section names – Modify each email section’s name as needed. (See the GIF below.) To upload and organize assets, navigate to the block in edit mode, upload logos and icons, and specify their display order to match branding requirements.
Enforce company guidelines – Enable or disable customization options to maintain brand consistency, pick colors, and decide the section format. You can toggle off the “Can disable field” option to prevent non-admin users from altering the structure. Ensure logos and other assets are uploaded to the backend library connected to the Guidelines page, and verify you have Editor or Owner permissions to manage these assets efficiently.
Adjust layout – Modify spacing and rearrange sections with a simple drag-and-drop interface.
Set a logo – Upload an image or choose one from your library, typically your company logo. Use standard image formats and sizes for optimal compatibility, and pin the logo in the block to ensure it appears in copied signatures.
Add a link – Link the logo to your company website so anyone who clicks it is redirected automatically.
Getting your email signature
Once the block is set up by editors, users can generate their signature in just a few steps:
Go to the guidelines where the block is installed.
Enter your details (name, email, etc.).
Copy your signature and paste it into your email settings.
That’s it! Your professional, on-brand email signature is ready to use.
