You can switch a generic domain to a Frontify custom sub-domain, e.g. yourbrand.frontify.com. A Starter plan or higher is required.
You can set up a custom subdomain on the Guidelines or Account level.
Set up Custom subdomain on the Account level:
As an Account Admin, navigate to the Account Settings:
Let’s use "monobrand.frontify.com" as an example:
Under "Domain Configuration" type in the domain URL of your desire, e.g. "your-domain.frontify.com".
If the domain is already in use by someone else, you will get a notification and will need to alter your domain choice.
Set up Custom subdomain on the Guidelines level:
Alternatively, you can set up a subdomain for specific Guidelines. This domain will then be pointing to these Guidelines only.
To do that, you need to be a Guidelines owner and access Guidelines Settings in the Power Bar.
In General Settings, you can type in the subdomain in the same way as described above.
SSL certificate?
All custom sub-domains like your-domain.frontify.com are running with SSL. You don't have to do anything.
Custom Domain vs Custom sub-domain
Note! To use your own domain, check Setup custom domain access.
Custom domain option is only available for Team and Enterprise plans and it requires the involvement of your IT department or our Support Team.
If you have an Enterprise plan you can only create a custom sub-domain by contacting your Customer Success Manager and requesting the full setup.
