If your files don’t appear automatically in the frontend, check if the Document Categories are set for the assets. Only files with an added Document Category appear in the Document Library frontend. You can check this the following way:

  1. In the backend of the Document Library, open the asset

  2. Click on the “ i” ( info) symbol in the powerbar on the left side

  3. On the right side of the view, switch tabs from“Basics” to “Metadata”

  4. Check if anything is added under “Document Category”, like in the image below where “Presentations” is visible

If a category is added then the file should appear, if no category is set, you can add one the following way and also check if categories are set:

  1. Click on the gear icon in the left powerbar

  2. Click on “Document Library Settings”

  3. Check if categories are added under “Document Category”

You can also choose a category as default, that files automatically get a Document Category assigned and appear in the frontend.

Now you have to add the category to the assets. Click on the assets that should have that category and add the category to them by clicking at the top on “Metadata” and choose a “Document Category”:

or you can directly add a category when the file is opened by clicking on the "i" symbol > change from “Basics” to “Metadata” on the top right and add a “Document Category” as seen in the image below:
