Learn how to install the Jira Cloud integration

To get started with the Frontify—Jira Cloud integration, ask your CSM to activate it for your domain.

Once the integration is activated, log in to Jira Cloud with an admin account. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select Manage apps from the menu on the left.

In the “Manage apps” section, scroll down and click the Settings button in the footer to open the configuration dialog.

In the dialog box, check the boxes for Enable private listings and Enable development mode, as shown in the screenshot below.

Apply the new settings and refresh the page. Then click the Upload app button, as shown in the screenshot below.

Clicking “Upload app” opens a dialog. In the dialog, enter the following URL, as shown below:

Click the Upload button and wait for the application to finish installing.

Once installed, you’ll need to follow the procedure below to connect the app to your company’s Frontify instance.

App configuration

On the Manage apps page, in the User-installed apps table, find and expand the Frontify Jira Cloud Plugin row, as shown below.

Click the Configure button to open the plugin’s configuration page.

Fill in the fields as shown below and save your changes:

  • Client ID: jira-server

  • Domain: Enter your company’s Frontify URL (e.g., https://superbrand.frontify.com/)

  • Allow Multi-select: Checked

  • Download URLs are permanent: Checked
