What is Restore content?
Restore content lets you recover deleted blocks, sections, and tabs in your guidelines, instantly after deletion or from a 90-day history panel. It helps you edit with confidence, experiment freely, and save time if mistakes happen.
How to restore content instantly?
Use CTRL+Z (Windows) or command+Z (Mac) immediately after deleting content.
Alternatively, click “Undo” in the toast message that appears right after deletio non the bottom center of your screen.
The deleted item will reappear in its original place.
How to restore content from history?
Open the guideline page in edit mode.
From the action toolbar on the bottom center, select Restore content.
A modal will display any sections and blocks deleted from that page (up to 90 days).
Select the item you want to restore.
(Optional) If the item has dependencies (e.g., deleted parent sections), select “Restore all” from the flyout to bring them back together.
After restoring, a toast message will appear. Choose “View” in the toast to close the modal and continue editing the restored item on the page. Alternatively, stay in the modal to keep restoring other guideline content.
Notes and best practices
Hierarchy: If a parent section was deleted after its blocks, it will always be brought back together with the nested block you're restoring.
Retention: Deleted items remain available for 90 days.
Consistency: Restored items always reappear in their original position.
Confidence: This feature ensures deleted content can be safely restored.
