Introduction
The Media delivery digest email gives account admins a weekly overview of how their Frontify-hosted assets are being distributed online. It helps you monitor delivery performance, spot potential issues early, and identify opportunities to optimize your assets for better speed and reliability.
Each digest is sent automatically to account admins who opt in and have the Media Processing API activated on their account.
How to enable the digest
To start receiving the Media delivery digest email:
In Frontify, go to Notification Settings.
Find the section Media Delivery Digest.
Toggle Enable to opt in.
Once enabled, you’ll receive a weekly digest every Tuesday summarizing your asset delivery data for the previous week.
Note: Only account admins can enable or receive the digest.
Understanding your digest
Each email provides a summary of how your media is being served through Frontify’s delivery network.
Here’s what’s inside:
Weekly usage summary – Total asset requests and outbound traffic (in GB).
Top distributed assets – Your most requested assets, with request and traffic data.
Distribution insights – A breakdown by geographic region and device type.
Top host referrers – The main websites or domains where your assets are embedded.
Optimization opportunities:
Good – Healthy delivery practices (e.g., optimized image formats)
Warning – Potential improvements (e.g., heavy mobile images)
Issue – Problems detected (e.g., missing or broken files)
Together, these insights help you understand how your brand assets are performing across channels.
Good to know (Limitations)
The digest is available only at the account level, not per brand.
Data shown is aggregated traffic, meaning internal and external requests are combined.
Digest emails are only sent to opted-in account admins.
Requires the Media processing API to be active on your account.
