Requirements
To use the integration, you need a WordPress and a Frontify Enterprise account.
Usage
Step 1: Install & Configure
Install the Frontify extension for WordPress by searching for Frontify in the ‘Plugins’ section of WordPress. To configure the plugin, click on the ‘Settings’ tab on the power bar to your left, and select ‘Frontify Settings.’ There, you have to enter your Frontify domain and add the API token. To retrieve the token, access the Frontify Media Library you’d like to connect with WordPress, click on the Settings cogwheel, select ‘Integrations,’ and copy the API token. Paste the token into the respective field in WordPress and save the changes.
Step 2: Using the Plugin
If the plugin is set up properly, you should now be able to choose a Frontify block in the content editing field. Click ‘Choose Asset’’ to open an asset chooser with all your Frontify media assets. Choose whatever on-brand asset you’d like to place directly into your WordPress entry.
Once you’ve made the selection(s), previews of your assets will appear in your entry. If you want to switch out an asset, there’s the replace button that allows you to do so.
There you have it – simple as that. We hope this article helped you set up Frontify for WordPress. In case of questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
