Overview
WordPress is an open-source content management system (CMS) widely used to create, manage, and publish websites.
The Frontify - WordPress integration allows you to:
Browse, search and select brand assets stored in Frontify directly from Wordpress.
Insert approved assets into your pages or posts without downloading them first
Maintain asset integrity. Your assets remain stored in Frontify.
Getting started
Open the Media Library
In WordPress, start editing a post or page. Open the Media Library and look for a tab labeled Frontify.
2. Log in to Frontify
Click the Frontify tab.
If prompted, log in with your Frontify credentials and approve access for the domain you want to use.
Once logged in, you will stay authenticated, and you won’t need to re-enter credentials the next time.
3. Browse or search for Assets
Use the Frontify tab to browse your libraries or search for specific assets.
Select one or more assets and confirm your selection.
4. Insert Assets into WordPress
Selected assets are automatically imported into the WordPress Media Library.
The imported assets are pre-selected so you can insert them into your page immediately.
Reusing Assets
Any asset previously fetched from Frontify can be reused directly from the WordPress Media Library without re-fetching.
To keep assets up to date, fetch from Frontify again if your team updates the original asset.
Tips & Notes
Authorization: Access is user-specific. You can only view and insert assets you are authorized to access in Frontify.
Media Library Behavior: Imported assets behave like native WordPress media files for editing, placement, and reuse.
Editor Compatibility: This integration is built for Gutenberg and may not work with third-party page builders or classic editors.
