How the OpenAI app works in Frontify
The OpenAI app in Frontify lets you generate new images from text or visual input using the OpenAI API. You can describe the image you want, upload an image, or choose one from Frontify, then generate a new set of images. These can be saved to libraries or projects, downloaded, or used to create new variations.
Install the OpenAI app
If you’re an account admin, you can install the OpenAI app from Frontify’s marketplace:
Go to Marketplace
Open Apps
Open the OpenAI app
Click on Install
Go to the app’s Settings tab and add your OpenAI API key

Use the OpenAI app in Frontify
Go to your library backend or project, then click New in the top-right corner and choose the OpenAI app from the menu.
Once you open the app, you can choose how many images you want to generate and their dimensions.
To generate new images, add your input. This can be a text prompt or an image you upload or browse from Frontify.
After generating the images, you can create variations, download one or more images, or save them to a library or project.
