The Background Removal app of Frontify lets you easily remove the background of images using the TwicPics API.
In a Frontify library backend or a project, you can navigate to the asset details screen and use the app to remove the image's background quickly. After removing the background, you can download or save the image to your library or project.
Note: The TwicPics Background Removal app generates a new version of the asset with the background removed. It does not modify the original file unless you choose to replace it.
Start with selecting your library from the backend.
Now, pick the image to remove the background.
Click on the top-right three dots and select the background removal app.
Now, you can either save it to Frontify or download the image.
Supported file formats
The background removal app does not work with TIFF files (.tif, .tiff) or other file formats. The background removal app option will only appear within Frontify for supported file types.
If you need to remove the background from a TIFF file, convert the TIFF into a JPEG or PNG first, run the background removal, and then save it in the format you need.
