Storyteq Integration for Frontify

Learn how to connect Storyteq as an integration in Frontify.

Updated over a week ago

The Storyteq integration enables Frontify customers to easily create and distribute on-brand video content. Create video templates from scratch in Storyteq’s online editor, or upload an existing video file via the After Effects plugin, where you can upload your content directly from the Frontify Libraries.

The videos are pushed straight to Frontify and made available for your end-users to create their own variations within the Frontify platform through the simple embedded web-based editor - with no design or video production skills necessary. Through parameters set in your template, end users can replace video and image content, text, colors, and more, while staying on-brand. Read more to get started.

Connecting your Storyteq account with Frontify

To establish a connection between your Frontify Media Library and Storyteq, you will need to ensure you first have an account with Storyteq. Once you are a subscriber, you can contact our support team to have this integration turned on.

Once the integration is turned on in Frontify, you will be able to log into your Storyteq dashboard and go into your connected accounts, where you can enable Frontify as an integration to turn on.

Storyteq Connect Flow:

  1. When you create your Storyteq account, you should receive an API key from Storyteq’s support team;

  2. Provide this API key to Frontify’s support team to enable the Storyteq integration in Frontify;

  3. In the Storyteq dashboard, navigate to the 'Connect' menu (socket) on the left side of the screen;

  4. Click on the 'Frontify' side tab;

  5. Enter and authenticate the Storyteq API Key;

  6. Your profile is now connected!

  7. To add more profiles, select 'Connect another profile...' and follow step 3 again. From the cogwheel next to your email, you can rename your profile so it doesn't show your email address, or disconnect your profile.

  8. To add Frontify Libraries, select the connected profile, press 'Add Frontify Library' (only Frontify libraries that you have been granted access to will show on the list), and select the library you wish to link.

Uploading media from Storyteq to Frontify
