Can I hide my font in the guidelines?

Using your own font while keeping the font block hidden from viewers.

Managing fonts in Frontify allows you to keep them usable on the platform while controlling their visibility for end users. Sometimes, you may want to set up a new font within the guidelines but ensure that the font block is not visible to your viewers.

To do this, you will:

  1. Navigate to the location where the font is hosted.

  2. Create or use an unpublished page specifically designated for preserving unused fonts. This ensures the page does not appear to viewers.

  3. Follow the steps laid out in this article to set up a new font in a font block on the unpublished page.

This will ensure that the font is usable in guideline design settings, but only visible to editors of your guideline.
