Guideline analytics helps you understand how people engage with your guidelines. You can measure how often pages and documents are viewed, track downloads of attachments included in your guidelines, and review activity over time.

Analytics are available at the page and document level, helping you understand which content people are using.

To view analytics for a specific page or document in your guideline:

You can adjust the reporting period using the date filter. Choose a preset of 30, 60, or 365 days, or select a custom range using the calendar. Select Apply to update the results.

The Views tab in your guideline analytics shows how people are accessing your guideline content during the selected period.

The Downloads tab lists downloadable attachments on the selected page or document, showing each file’s name and the number of times it was downloaded during the selected period. It does not show a breakdown of download activity over time.

Download metrics are only available for assets added via attachment blocks. Regular assets referenced in documents are not tracked in this way. Views of embedded images or other media aren’t counted as downloads. Downloads from libraries or projects are tracked separately in asset analytics.

For a broader view of guideline performance across your entire brand, open the Analytics dashboard from your account menu. Here, you can explore traffic across pages and access more detailed reporting.

You can also export available analytics data as CSV files for further analysis.

To review the performance of an individual asset, open it in a library or project and click on Analytics in the powerbar. The analytics panel shows information such as asset views, downloads, and external usage.

For a more granular view of individual user activity, open Asset audit trail from the asset’s powerbar. You can filter activity by user, activity (such as downloads and sharing), and time period.
