Natural language search helps you find the right asset or guideline faster. Whether you know the exact term or just something similar, AI expands your search to surface relevant results.
Note: Natural language search is included as part of Enhanced image search. Once Enhanced image search is enabled for your organization, natural language search is available automatically, no separate activation is required.
What it does
Exact keyword search: As before, you can search for keywords in an asset or guideline's title, description, metadata, or tags.
Note: Partial matches may not appear unless the full term or a close variation is included in the description.
Similar meaning search (AI-powered): Assets and guidelines can also be found when the description includes terms with a similar meaning to your search.
Combined results: Exact matches always appear first, followed by similar matches.
Examples:
Searching for dog can also return poodle.
Searching for roy can also return king.
Searching in one language can return results in another.
Why it’s useful
No need to remember exact tags: Find what you need even if you don’t know the precise keyword.
Supports multiple languages: Search across terms in different languages, reducing friction for global teams.
Faster access to content: Spend less time digging through folders or guessing metadata.
How to use it
If Enhanced image search is enabled for your organization, natural language search works automatically.
Simply enter your search query as you normally would. AI enhances your search in the background by finding both exact matches and content with similar meaning.
Important to know
Semantic matches currently apply to asset descriptions.
Exact keyword search continues to search titles, descriptions, metadata, and tags.
This capability is powered by AI.
