What happened to my existing settings?
Your existing settings have been automatically updated. Nothing was lost and nothing needs to be done.
Here's exactly what happened:
Most library pages had no workflow status or asset validity settings configured. For these, nothing changed. Your pages continue to use the Entire library default, and no view was created.
If your library page had a workflow status or asset validity setting turned on in Content Settings, what your users see hasn't changed either.
A view was created using the same rules your page already had. If you had workflow status set to "Approved" and asset validity set to exclude expired assets, the new view carries both of those rules forward.
Your library page now references that view instead of the old Content Settings toggles.
No assets were added, removed, or changed. Your library pages show exactly the same assets as before, and your end users won't notice any difference.
Where to find your views
Open your library in the DAM workspace.
Select the Views tab in the top navigation, alongside Overview, Assets, Workflow, Activity, Metadata, and Automations.
You'll find the view or views created from your page's settings.
Select the settings icon on a view to open its configuration, or open your library page's content settings to confirm which view is applied.
Understanding the default state: Entire library
Entire library isn't a view. It's always available as a selection on any library page or guideline page, but it doesn't appear as a card in your library's Views tab, since it isn't something you configured. It's simply what happens when no filtering has been applied.
When you open the Content Settings panel on a guideline page connected to a library, you'll see the Views section with two options:
Entire library: pre-selected by default, no view required
Views: a list of any views defined in your library
If your library page had settings configured before transition, you'll see the updated view selected. If it had no settings, you'll see Entire library selected.
How old settings map to view rules
Asset lifecycle toggles
The old Asset lifecycle toggles in Content Settings map directly to the Asset availability rule in a View:

Workflow status toggles
The old Workflow Status toggles map directly to the Workflow status rule in a View. Any workflow statuses that were enabled in your Content Settings appear as selected values in the Workflow status rule of your new View.
How views were named
Views created during the transition follow a set naming pattern:
A page with a filter that's the only page using that filter in its library keeps the page's own name.
Pages with matching filters and the same name share one view, keeping that name.
Pages with matching filters but different names get a shared view named after the library instead.
If a chosen name is already used by another view in the same library, a number is added to keep it unique, for example "- 2," "- 3," and so on.

Views work the same way here as anywhere else in your library. See the main guide for more information.
FAQ
Do I need to do anything after the update? No. Your library pages work exactly as before. Views are available when you need them but are never required.
Will my end users notice any difference? No. The assets shown on your library pages and guideline pages remain identical after the change.
What happened to my existing Content Settings? If your library page had a workflow status or asset validity setting turned on, that setting carried over automatically into a new view with the same rules. Nothing was reconfigured or removed.
What if I had more than one setting enabled, like workflow status and asset validity together? Both rules were carried into the same view, combined the same way they were applied on your page before.
Does this affect library pages that didn't have any Content Settings applied? No. If a page was already showing your entire library with no workflow status or validity setting turned on, nothing changes for that page.
