How do you enable the Brand Assistant on your account?

Step-by-step process on how to activate the Brand Assistant in your Frontify instance.

What is the Brand Assistant?

The Brand Assistant is a chatbot that lives on your brand portal and is aware of its contents. It can help your end users find relevant information with ease, provide feedback to your copywriters based on your writing guidelines, or create a creative brief based on your campaign toolkit.

The Brand Assistant is only available on the Enterprise plan and is currently in Open Beta.

How to enable the Brand Assistant on your account?

  • Authorize the use of the Brand Assistant on your account

Go to your account settings and toggle the Brand Assistant on. You’ll be asked to accept the Beta terms. Note: only account admins have access to account settings

  • Enable the Brand Assistant on individual guidelines

Once the feature is authorized on the account, go to your admin dashboard and select which guidelines you’d like the Brand Assistant to show.

Note:

  • When you toggle on the Brand Assistant for a specific guideline, it may take up to 15 minutes for the Brand Assistant to finish processing the guideline and become aware of all its contents.

  • When the Brand Assistant is enabled on a guideline, it's available to all logged-in users of the guideline. It will not show to public/non-logged-in users.

Disabling the Brand Assistant

For individual guidelines

You can disable the Brand Assistant for individual guidelines by going to the admin dashboard and toggling off the feature on any guideline you no longer want the Brand Assistant to show.

For the entire account

To disable the Brand Assistant for all guidelines on your account, you can go to your account settings and toggle off the Brand Assistant authorization.
