Overview:
SSO (SAML) certificates expire periodically and must be renewed to maintain uninterrupted authentication. Because Frontify supports only one active certificate at a time, renewals require synchronized updates between your identity provider and our platform to avoid login failures.
Steps to Renew Your SSO Certificate:
Prepare Required Information:
IT contact emails for coordination
Domain affected by the certificate renewal
New certificate or metadata.xml file from your identity provider
Contact your Customer Success Manager:
Provide your IT contacts, the domain affected by the renewal, and the new certificate or metadata.xml file (if already prepared).
Coordinate the Certificate Switch:
Our support team will schedule a coordinated switch time within support hours with your IT
We will update the configuration on our side
You will receive confirmation when testing can begin
Critical Requirements:
Send us your new certificate before making changes on your side to avoid login disruptions
Certificate updates can only be performed during support hours
Do not update your identity provider configuration until we confirm our side is ready
