Sprinklr integration

A guide to the Frontify to Sprinklr asset sync. A one-directional sync that distributes brand-approved assets from Frontify to Sprinklr.

The Sprinklr Integration enables enterprise customers to automatically distribute brand-compliant assets from Frontify to Sprinklr.

The integration is designed for organizations that use Frontify as their single source of truth for branded assets and want those assets to be reliably available in Sprinklr for activation and distribution.

Introduction

This guide will help you understand the options of the Sprinklr integration. Once activated, you’ll be able to use Frontify assets directly within your Sprinklr environment.

Before considering this integration, we recommend exploring Frontify's desktop application, which is included in your subscription.

What is Sprinklr?

Sprinklr is an enterprise Customer Experience Management (CXM) platform used for social media management, campaign orchestration, and digital engagement across channels. It enables global teams to plan, publish, and analyze content at scale.

The Frontify to Sprinklr Integration ensures that brand-approved assets are automatically transferred into Sprinklr and enriched with structured metadata and governance information.

When to use the Frontify to Sprinklr Integration?

You want to

  • Keep Frontify as the single source of truth (SSOT)

  • Automatically distribute brand-approved assets

What the integration does

The integration enables a scheduled, automated synchronization from Frontify to Sprinklr. The integration is one-directional sync: Frontify → Sprinklr. Once synced, copies of the assets, along with their metadata are fully uploaded and stored in Sprinklr.

This integration support the following asset types:

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Documents (PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, ZIP)

New asset versions and metadata changes in Frontify are reflected in Sprinklr after the next scheduled sync.

When assets are deleted in Frontify, they can either:

  • be deleted in Sprinklr

  • or set to status “EXPIRED”

Setup & Configuration

Frontify will set-up this integration for you based on your configuration preferences, which are listed below.

The integration requires a defined Sprinklr Campaign ID. And all synchronized assets are automatically assigned to this campaign in Sprinklr.

Libraries

The integration works on one or more Libraries from Frontify. Each Library can have its own metadata mappings & sync conditions.

Metadata mapping

Metadata mapping tells the integration how to display metadata on Sprinklr. Both static and dynamic mappings are supported.

  • Static values can be defined and are applied to all synchronized assets (e.g., fixed Brand value).

  • Dynamic 1:1 mapping (recommended) allows Frontify system and custom properties to be mapped directly to Sprinklr fields.

In addition, the following properties are always transferred:

  • Title

  • Description

  • Tags

  • Start and expiration date

Sync conditions

Choosing which assets to sync from the selected Libraries can be controlled by setting various conditions per Library:

  • Specific custom metadata values, which can be combined with AND & OR operators

  • Based on a specific Workflow status (e.g., approved assets only)

It is also possible to exclude assets with unknown copyright.

Getting started

Setup is done collaboratively between the Customer and Frontify.

  1. Determine your desired libraries and the sync conditions (see above) by which you which to synchronize assets.

  2. A developer token will be needed for the integration. Please see the linked article for instructions on how to generate one.

  3. Contact you Customer Success Manager at Frontify with the sync information, the developer token and a desired activation day.

Your CSM will contact relevant technical teams at Frontify to set up this integration. Please allow 5 business days for activation after your message and plan your activation day accordingly.

How frequently does the sync run?

The standard sync interval is once every 24h, happening during night time in Europe and the Americas.

When first connected, depending on the number of assets that match the sync conditions, the sync may take quite long to transfer all the assets and a 24h interval is not guaranteed for the first days.

Can the integration be modified to match additional needs?

This integration was built in collaboration with a Certified Technical Partner of Frontify's .NFQ. The partner can be engaged by Frontify Customers for any customization needs at their own expense. Frontify grants permission to use the integration as a starting point for any Customer needed customizations .NFQ is contracted to do. Please contact your CSM to get in contact with the Partner.

Are there known limitations?

The integration has some caveats. There is no immediate retry mechanism for failed assets. Frontify technical support will attempt to rerun any missed assets identified by Customers.
