The short answer: not directly
Personal projects in Frontify are private by default. You can't invite teammates or external users to a personal project, and there's no sharing option available from within one. If you've tried to find the Team icon in a personal project and it's not there — that's expected behavior.
What you can do instead: move assets to a shared project
The supported workaround is to move your assets from your personal project into a regular shared project, and then invite people from there.
Here's how:
Open your personal project and select the asset(s) you want to share
Open the bulk action toolbar at the bottom of the screen
Click Move and choose a shared project as the destination
Once the assets are in the shared project, click the Team icon in the top-right corner to invite collaborators
When inviting someone to a shared project, you can assign one of the following roles:
Viewer — can view content only
Reviewer — can view and leave comments or feedback
Editor — can edit, upload, comment, and invite others
Owner — full control, including deleting the project
What happens if ask me for access to my personal project?
If you've shared a link to something in a personal project, the user won't be able to access it. Personal projects don't support granting access to other users. You'll need to move the asset to a shared project first and re-share the link from there.
Can admins see personal projects?
Account admins can be granted visibility into all personal projects via an account-level toggle in Account Settings. When enabled, account owners get Editor access to every personal project across the account. This is an oversight feature for admins — it doesn't enable sharing with regular users or external parties.
One more thing to keep in mind
When a user is removed from a Frontify account, their personal project and everything in it is permanently deleted. If there are assets in a personal project that need to be kept, make sure they're moved to a shared project before the user is offboarded.
